This project revolved around the challenge of creating a presence within a site located in a narrow alley, amidst buildings characterized by a diverse mix of materials and textures, typical of the urban landscape in Gangnam. The legally permissible form directly influenced the building's design, and the roof, shaped naturally by sunlight setback regulations, was utilized as a terrace. By using white, thin-panel tiles, the building contrasts with its surroundings, bringing a sense of order to the street. The fragmented upper mass was accentuated to enhance visibility and recognition from the entrance.
